The Summer Associate Program at McElroy, Deutsch, Mulvaney & Carpenter, LLP offers second-year law students the opportunity to gain meaningful legal experience. We recruit from a wide variety of law schools, and our intensive recruiting process is designed to find well-rounded, highly motivated individuals with a genuine interest in our firm. Our summer program is considered the primary source for hiring entry-level associates. With this in mind, we seek to promote the professional development of our summer associates and to give them the opportunity to experience the life of an associate at MDM&C. Throughout the summer, associates will interact closely with MDM&C attorneys and have the opportunity to attend judicial hearings, business meetings and client and other lawyer conferences.

Our Summer Associate Program is generally a ten-week program beginning at the end of May.  Each summer associate is assigned a mentor to provide guidance throughout the summer. In addition to receiving challenging legal experience, summer associates will participate in a variety of social activities such as baseball games, cooking classes, a day at the races, and evening socials.
